Outside of the guild halls and on the outskirts of the town stood a farm. On the border of the farm stood a hut. Vierra returned to the hut which was her home since she had returned from the Arcane Realm. She stood outside and then grabbed an axe. She huffed the axe to her shoulder and then walked over to the pile of unfinished fire wood. She then noticed there was a note on the log.
Vierra,
We hope you had a wonderous trip. You left us so suddenly we already found a replacement for you. Look out in the farms.
She looked out into the farms to see a scare crow with the same hood as her. She smirked and then began chopping the wood. This was her anger release. She began to feel more control over her emotions with each log that she split in two. She tossed the logs into a pile and then continued to chop. Her eyes swelled up as she looked down at the logs.
Kyll... A voice sounded in her mind. A memory. Faded. Every time she heard that voice sound. Her spin would chill. She looked down again. This time her face was blushing.
She put a hand on her forehead and sighed as she turned around to pick up another log. Her anger faded away. Finally she wiped her brow. "Who does Akryn think he is?" She said aloud. "His senior members come in. Exclaiming to him that they want to find their former master."
Vierra, what is the matter? This is about Akryn?
She wiped some sweat off her face again. "Of course it's about... Akryn. He's not what I remembered. He's not trustworthy. He flaunted his authority. The hooded man... Zeno would never do that.
Vierra, you're starting to remember. You're only remembering memories that are not key to your return though.
"Pantu... You're not helping any. For being The Hanged Man. You really are not giving me the advice I need." She sliced through another piece of wood like butter. "Pantu... Akryn is not what he says he is. Instead of looking for his fellow guild mates. He took over the guild."
Is this what you would have done Vierra?
"OF COURSE IT IS. If I were to go missing, I would hope that someone would search for me.... Ayle did. Akryn didn't." She then paused and realised. "I forgot to thank her..." she said with a smile. It warmed further as her eyes softened. "I should have said that during our interrogations. Can you believe that Pantu?... He INTERROGATED US." Her face furled into a glare as she picked the axe up and then smashed it into the log.
Vierra, you need to reunite us. So that we may bring back our former master.
She gripped her fist. "Of course I'm going to find him. I'm going to find him.... I'm going to..." she stopped and looked at the sky. "Pantu. Tell me something... I know Kyll chased him. Searched him out... Cried out for him... Did he ever notice once what he meant to her?"
I do not know. Maybe it's because he was always in and out of the Arcane Realm. He shared a deep connection with Kyll. Perhaps he was too busy keeping that connection going to really understand what Kyll was doing.
Vierra sighed. "He replaced Kyll... With a monster. He replaced Alye and the dragon slayers with more and more monsters. The guild Eclipse Soul is supposed to be about redemption. I do not see any redeeming qualities in that man as a guild master. Just someone who constantly plays favorites with his own little minions."

| Avatar's Anger Ah, the memories... The Knight sat on the floor with her legs crossed as a pillar of light illuminated her presence. The light made the white features on her heavenly armor glow a faint hue that softened her body. The cascade of light came from the magically erected skylight that helped accentuate the massive library that Eclipse Soul housed in it's southern wing. The library was a dome shape, using the enhanced light from the sky to light the entire space, instead of wasting energy on actual lights. Several books swirled in the air around the Knight as she scanned the texts to see if she could find the material she was looking for. She'd spent the entire day reading up on whatever she could find about anything pertaining to the Arcane Realm. She had learned some interesting facts, but at the end of the day, she was still no closer to finding anything out about Kyll's affliction, Zeno's disappearance, or even the Arcane Lords themselves. In truth, Alye was beginning to get discouraged. If she couldn't find intel on their situation, how in the world are they going to be able to do anything about it!?
Alye sighed.
She didn't need to go and get frustrated. She found her hand drifting up towards the mark of Ororo that sat at the crest of her armor. She missed her mistress dearly. She had so many questions that were still unanswered. What were these powers that were still so foreign to her? How did her being play any role in Kyll and Zeno's future. It certainly did sound like something that only the gods would know...
Alye's blue eyes blinked in sudden realization.
The gods!
The Knight closed her eyes and fell into her mind. She pushed her senses away and focused on the silence in the air around her. That had always been her favorite thing. The silence before a storm. Overhead, the bright light of the day began to be blotted out as thick thunderheads seemed to materialize out of nowhere. The white light began to turn gray. When Alye opened her eyes again, she smiled. As she felt cool air rolling into the room, she looked up just in time to see the floating form of her Goddess. Ororo hovered in the air quietly as a dense fog coiled around her like an old friend.
"Hello child." "Milady! It's so nice to see you again..." "The same goes for you, my avatar. I see you've already began fulfilling your quest as I have asked." "Y-Yes, but I still have so much to do..." "Nonsense. You have already found the one named Kyll and you've secured one of the Arcana. I say you've done well." "Thank you, milady but Kyll still isn't herself..." Ororo was quiet for a moment, as if she was astounded by the sadness in Alye's voice. "You truly care for her. So admirable of you. Fear not, my child, for your quest and her recovery are in line." "You mean, as I restore more of the Arcana, Kyll's memory will become unclouded?" "Yes. Though it is currently unclear as to why the Lords of the Arcane have chosen to use Kyll as their vassal and this guild as their safe grounds, restoring their catalysts in this world is of the utmost importance. But until then..." Ororo reached one of her hands out towards Alye and made some sort of gesture that even Alye could not follow. All of a sudden though the crest on her armor suddenly began to glow with heavenly light. The rosette began to float slightly in the air as the feathers on her hips gently flowed in the breeze. Alye gasped as she felt liquid power running through her veins. The world began to slow down as she felt her body grow taut with strength. "You have proved yourself worthy of my name for securing the Hanged Man and for helping lift some of the fog on your friend's mind. I have expanded your reach over the elements now. Instead of just manipulating the aspects of the basic four elements, I have also granted you dominion over the aspect of Ice and Lightning. Your physical prowess will also be risen. Continue doing the good work and your skills will only be multiplied, child. But for now, there is something I must show you..."
Alye's mind began to fill with the vivid picture of a temple nestled deep inside a forest. Robins and bluejays zipped by as the vines of age and time wrapped around the stone columns of the structure. Alye was confused however. This temple was not of Ororo. "Correct. This is not a place of my power, but of to a fallen God. He is revered no longer so he holds no place within the heavens. His name is Ishrowan; the God of Knowledge. If you wish to find out the next steps in your quest, you must find out from him. There are things that he can perceive that not even the mightiest of the God's can see. I bid you to be cautious however. Ishrowan revels in sharing his knowledge with others. It gives him carnal pleasure. That being said, he will most certainly try and trap you within his temple if he feels as if you could sustain his thirst for conglomerate. Take your guildmate with you so she may also find a semblance of closure. Together I know you both cannot fall." Alye's feet touched the floor and tasted air again. Her eyes snapped open to find Ororo dissipating in her thick fog. She could only awe at her mistress's beauty as she melded away. When the only thing she could make out was Ororo's snow white eyes, she heard her voice one last time.
"I shall visit you again soon, my Avatar..."
And then she was gone.
As the air returned to normal, Alye stood up and flexed her muscles.
"Gotta find Kyll."

Vierra continued to chop wood. She then felt a small vibration on her gauntlet. The hidden blade began to vibrate. "What is going on?" she asked as she held it closer to her face. She evaluated the look ad began to notice that it began to glow a light blue. Her eyes widened. "What does it want?"
The being who forged this blade is calling for you.
She blinked as she held it up in the air. A portal opened in front of her then sucked her through the portal. Her eyes widened as the vacuum opened up and made her go through the Arcane Realm immediately opening up on a different end. She found herself seeing the rosy woman, Alye, as another portal opened up behind her. "Hang on!" She shouted as she grabbed the knight by the arm. The two were then sucked through another portal and it closed in the guild hall. "The being who forged this blade is calling for me." She said aloud as the two found themselves zooming through a tunnel of chaotic magic. She looked over at Alye with a smile. "First, thank you for seeking me out." She then looked forward. It seemed like they were standing or floating and everything was moving fast around them. As if they were on a long conveyor belt, but nothing was there underneath the two. "So... Akryn, the prideful guild master who will lead us to ruin, has no clue what this place is. According to the Hanged Man. This is the birthplace of all magic. All beings who leave this realm are revered as gods. They twist their arcane magic into what is known as magic now. Which is why this place is so chaotic. There is no balance here." She sensed the end of the Arcane Tunnel the two were zooming through. "It's why an Arcane Mage has no elemental bindings... Their magic is based on the magic that resides in EVERYTHING."
The opening ended with the two standing in a dark forest. In front of them was an abandoned building covered in vines. Vierra looked up at the building as she began to walk towards it. "What...." She walked up to a vine covered statue to see the sculpture of a muscular man standing tall with a book in his hand. He held his opposite hand up with all of his fingers outstretched. She moved closer and moved the vines away from the base of the statue to reveal the name "Ishrowan" in the vines. Vierra looked out.
Ah yes, the two who should arrive. The Child of Storms and The Child of Chaos. I have been requested upon to find answers. Though they do not know my price.
Vierra looked up at the building. She felt the urge to enter the building. She grabbed Alye by the hand. "Let's go..." She walked into the chapel like building. As the two made their way in, stairs formed on the ground leading further down. She walked down the stairs with Alye and looked at her. "Who is... Ishrowan?"

| Avatar's Anger The after effects of Ororo's machinations were almost maddening. Alye could feel liquid power flowing through her veins. She laid on the ground as she attempted to catch her breath. Her vision wasn't blurry exactly, but it was more like that everything was so sharp that her eyes simply refused to comprehend what she was seeing. She took a deep breath before she sat up. She winced a bit as what should have been the soft sound of her armor clinking as she moved actually sounded like metal being ripped apart. This sensory overload was intense. Would this happen every time that Ororo caused her to ascend? And what did it mean for her blood...? The rosette contemplated this as her senses came under her control again. Her conversation with the Goddess had been very enlightening. The Knight finally got to her feet and flexed her fist.
It was time to find Kyll.
...Or naw.
Alye's enhanced senses just had enough time to register the sudden emergence of magic - recognizing it was Kyll's - seeing Kyll flash into existence - Kyll grabbing her arm - then the both of them being pulled into an adjacent portal. Alye looked around in astonishment as the two mages were being propelled through an actual avenue of magic. Alye was just about to ask why this had happened, but when she held up her wrist and told Alye that the hidden blade in her braces were summoning her somewhere, the Knight only nodded. Kyll needed her.
That's all Alye needed to know.
The rosette was so entranced in scanning the magic around them that she almost didn't notice the smile that was gracing her friend's lips. Alye only nodded once more at Kyll's words. Looking for her best friend was only thing Alye could do. It was her duty. When Kyll finally explained what this was, it all kind of clicked to Alye. No wonder the gods - or at least Ororo - thought it would be important to have the Arcana restored. If they really are that powerful and happen to be the birthplace of magic, then they shouldn't be in the wrong hands. There's no telling what kind of damage could happen to the magical world as well if something happened to such powerful artifacts. A few moments later, the portal opened up to what seemed to be dense forestry. The two mages stepped out onto the ground with the lightest touch. While Kyll moved forward, Alye took the time to secure their surroundings. She didn't go far, but from what she could tell, this place used to actually be some sort of town or city. She could see many overgrown stone houses of several different designs. It wasn't until she heard Kyll mutter a surprise that Alye herself became astonished. She turned to find Kyll holding a vine with the very name that Ororo had just told her about only minutes ago.
If this wasn't fate, what was?
Alye's blue eyes stared at the statue to the fallen God. She wagered that he probably didn't look like that anymore... Alye's attention turned to her fellow Ace as she grabbed her hand and pulled her along. As they entered the entrance to the temple and began walking down a barren stone hallway, they walked in silence until the floor ended and steps began appearing out of nowhere.
"A God."
Alye took point this time. She began down the steps in a fair pace. It was quick enough to where they were making good time but slow enough to where the two could react in time if something did happen. "Specifically, Ishrowan is the fallen God of Knowledge. Ororo told me that he revels on sharing knowledge with those who seek it. If there is anyone in this realm that might know what we seek - then it would have to me him. I'll tell you what she told me though, Ky... Vierra. Though he might sound like a weakling, we can't underestimate him. If he feels like we could sate his appetite for companionship, he will try his damndest to keep us here for eternity. I don't have to tell you that we can't have that."
The two kept descending down the steps for what felt like ages until they were suddenly let out in what seemed to be an impossibly old library with rows upon rows of books. Alye whistled.
"Zeno would have loved this..."

Vierra heard the reply that Alye gave her. Then the explanation. She was very stern in her reply as she remembered the last "god" she had encountered. "In the world of the arcane, gods do not exist. They are merely arcane aspects put on pedestals by people who have no true understanding of what they truly are. Beings of the magical realm." The two found themselves in a straight corridor. "They are a step below the Arcane Lords, but a step above an Arcane Familiar." As she finished her sentence, the two stood in front of a large door. "I'm not afraid of this 'god'," she said with a grin. This grin was the same of the Arcana Maestro himself. Apparently, a few things from the original guild master had rubbed off on Vierra without her knowledge. She looked at the books and her eyes seemed to glow with a certain respect for the being that was hiding out here. She smiled as she walked ahead of Alye.
So you know who we are, be respectful of those who have a respect for our power, Child of Chaos. The voice sounded off in both Alye and Vierra's mind. Her face turned grim. You don't know much about who you were and who you are now Child of Chaos. You must continue to trust the judgement of The Child of Storms. Otherwise, just like your previous life, you will trip and fall because of things you do not understand.
Vierra nodded, but she was still wary of the voice she heard. It sounded familiar to her, but she didn't know why. She continued to make her way down the halls. She decided it would be best if she went ahead of Alye for bit. Just as she continued down a book flew off the shelf and opened up in front of Alye. The pages were like a small movie as they flipped open to a picture that was moving. It was of a hooded Kyll in the Arcane Realm sweating and kneeled on the ground with another cloaked mage standing in front of her with his arms crossed. He bore a look of disappointment when he looked down on her. However, the look changed to that of a concern to Kyll.
"Kyll, you need to focus. There is something that is keeping you from excelling in this session." He said aloud. The hooded figure knelt down to look Kyll in her eyes. "You know you can always tell me what it is that is bothering you."
Kyll went from her knees and pushed herself back away from the man. She opened her glowing green eyes and looked at her teacher a little annoyed. She turned her head and continued to take deep breaths to tone down the exhaustion and restore the oxygen in her body. Alye could hear all of the thoughts going through Kyll's mind. I'm not stong enough to do this, maybe this was a bad idea. It's too late for me to turn back. Zeno... Why can't you see what I'm feeling? I don't see you as my master anymore... I want you to see me... See me.... Finally she caught her breath and took on more deep breath. She looked at the ground and her thoughts cleared.
The man put his hands on Kyll's shoulders and then looked her right in her eyes. Never losing eye contact with her. "What is it? We can only clear your mind if we get to the bottom of your problems, Kyll..."
Kyll blushed and then looked down at the ground. Her face twisted into a grim smile as she knocked his arms from her shoulders. She got to her feet and then turned around so that he couldn't see her feelings. Another female voice sounded off in her head. People who can't see something so obvious should just die... It wasn't her's as she shook her head. Then a male's voice came into her mind. Let us take his power from him... He doesn't deserve us. She hugged her arms close. She shook her head. "It's nothing..." She said aloud.
"Kyll, if it was nothing, I would stop trying to figure out if it was something we could deal with."
Kyll then turned around. "No.. I'm not going to do that to him. I don't care what you are. You're not supposed to be Reversed." She stated aloud looking up as if she was talking to someone else. Zeno stood there unchanged. She knew she had to tell him, but she wasn't going to make anything more difficult for him. "We're supposed to share this on a deeper level, not fight..." Her body shivered as she walked over to the man and then knelt down to his level. She reached her hand out and then grabbed his and squeezed it. "I'm sorry... I can't do this." Her eyes swelled with tears as she squeezed his hand harder. "I'll just tell you..."
"Kyll..."
"Master, I do not like this setting we have. Where you tell me I can tell you everything feel, but I do not wish to tell you what it is in my mind. Each trial with these reversed Arcana is harder and harder. All I do is fail each test you give me. Why? Because I can't tell you what it is that is bothering me. Why? Because I'm scared, Master. I'm very scared of what I might say will only make things harder." Kyll stopped there and then blushed. She stopped. "I'm scared of you and what you might say to me."
"What do you mean?"
"It's amazing." She said with a laugh. "We shared so many moments, and you know me like the back of your hand, but you still are oblivious to me." Her face changed to a grim smile again. "It's like what the Reversed Lovers are telling me. You deserve this, but I can't act on it. I won't act on it." She said aloud and stood up again letting go of his hand. She looked around. "You hear me?! I won't do it! I refuse to do what you're telling me. I will not surrender my will to you!"
Zeno stood up then grabbed Kyll by the shoulders again. He turned her around to look her in the eyes. His glowing red eyes met with her green eyes as he looked her right into her soul. He kept a stern look. "Tell me, Kyll... What is it that is making your focus disappear?"
She shook her head and then hugged herself more. She stared at him and blushed. "Why? Why can't you understand?" She said in a shakey voice. "You're supposed to be my master, my mentor... But if it's something only I feel... Then it's pointless." She walked away from Zeno and the book faded. It flew back to the shelf and a voice sounded in Alye's mind.
Be careful with this one. She's fighting herself over and over. Kyll may be renewed into Vierra, but the complicated knots are still there. Vierra is the person she chose to be so that she didn't want to deal with the complex thorns of her life. So the Major Arcana granted her wish.
Vierra stopped in front of a large door way. The doors were tall, like it was an entrance to a grand hall. She shoved her body into the doors and they opened. Her eyes widened as she looked up at what looked like a black cloud of eyes staring down at her. The cloud swirled and swirled. Finally, she walked in to find herself tripping over a tube like vine that was on the floor. She put her hand on it and slipped because it was covered in a mucus. She looked as it wrapped itself around the room and went straight to the cloud. Then she noticed that the tube like vines were all over. Like tentacles. "What are you?"
"I am Ishrowan, the Aspect of Knowledge. A familiar name to you as I am one of the many aspects that the Shadow Savior wanted you to meet, perhaps because he wanted you to wield me. To others, I am the Fallen God of Knowledge. As many traditions gave me a story. To those who attend the Church, I am Lucifer, the angel who wished to help those in need of knowledge and the ability to understand that they are not a lower being that indulge themselves to one God. To others, I am Kvasir. I spread my knowledge across the world until I was drained of blood and killed. Finally another example of my story is that I am Ishrowan, the God of Knowledge who sought out to help those grow into a more civilized state until the day I helped a man forge a blade only meant for sealing away Aspects, Judgement came upon me and I was forever bound to this shrine in the Realm of the Arcane. My beautiful form was twisted and I remain here. All of my stories have one thing in common. I fell. You are here to meet me because I willed it so. I helped Zeno Sombras forge the hidden blade that the Hanged Man stole for you with my powers." The tentacles in the room tensed. "Though I do not blame you for what they did to you. I blame someone else. I can not speak of him, or he will surely appear. "
Vierra looked up at the being and folded her arms. "I don't know if I have anything to give to you for your knowledge, Ishrowan. What is it you seek?"
"This is the library of ages. I am missing one thing that interests me. It is something from the Child of Storms." As he finished speaking, a tentacle circled around Alye. Then tapped her back. "It's located here... I sense." He said.

| Avatar's Anger Alye had to admit that hearing the ethereal voice overhead had surprised her a bit. As soon as they'd entered this temple she'd made sure to stretch her sensory net as far as it would go. The entire time she hadn't felt any other sources of magic other than Kyll and herself. That was the tricky thing about the arcane though. Somethings were designed to be undetectable. But even as the two guild mates had descended into the depths of the building, Alye still hadn't been able to feel the presence of any magic. Just feeling no magic at all pretty much affirmed her hunch that they were being shielded from something.
Or someone.
Ishrowan, to be exact. The expanse of books around them extended as far as Alye could see. She could't tell if it was supposed to be that way or that was an illusion brought up by Ishrowan's power. After all, he might be a Fallen God, but he was still a God. The Knight was content with her guild mate walking in front of her. After all, if anything were to happen then Kyll would blink out of the way so Alye could let loose an onslaught. Everything was quiet for a while before something like the sound of mist rolling in caught Alye's attention. Her right hand instinctively began to hover over Overture, her holy sword. The mist coiled from behind the shelves and began to amass in a tight circle around the two mages. It didn't take any of Alye's weather knowledge to understand that this mist was nowhere near normal nor natural.
