Short Character Bio/History: Zari was born into a clan that operated similar to a church. The blood-related members would be taught a special magic called Angel Priest magic. In order to heal people and help others. Zari's mother and father one day left for a mission in the land of Enca but were reported to have been captured by a dark guild and slain. After receiving the news, Zari was placed into the care of his aunt. A few years passed and he met a girl after a beast attacked her convoy. Zari fell in love with the girl named Jackie and took her in. A few more years passed before the two would be married.
After their marriage however, the leaders of Shine Clan began to die rapidly in one night. The oldest elders took Zari away from his home and brought him to a secret cathedral hidden under their mountain home. There the Elders revealed to Zari that he would be the next clan leader and must learn the true power of the Angel Priest magic. In order to do this, Zari received a tattoo made of special ink. Before Zari was given talisman that would grant him the full strength of a holy being, his wife Jackie interrupted the ritual and killed the elders. Before he knew it Zari was surrounded by dark guild mages. His wife had been a spy since the day they met. Her father was the leader of the dark guild and chained Zari to the alter within the cathedral. After Jackie's father performed a ritual, an angel appeared before them all. Enraged, the being slaughtered all of the dark wizards. Disappointed by Zari Shine's performance, the angel placed a curse on the young man before teleporting him away from the mountain where the cathedral rested. With a eye burnt red and hair turned pale, Zari witnessed the mountain explode. In the sky, five pieces of the alter scattered across Earthland. With the explosion, his clan was killed. Zari roamed the country side until he stumped into the guild.
Story You Want to Have: I imagine Zari having an arc in his story where he brings together people from multiple backgrounds into his search for the scattered Alter pieces. Gathering information about the pieces, helping him actually go on a mission to get them, or maybe even fighting for a few. Zari is not sure how to break this curse on him. If it is at all possible! He thinks that if he could at least gather the Alter back in one piece, there might be a way to appease the angel that corrupted his magic. The Alter, before it was scattered, had powerful magic pulsating from it. Alone the pieces could possibly boost magic in some form or another. The Dark Guild that was killed by the angel had an info leak about its plan to take the power of an angel for themselves. So any dark wizard that had heard of this plot will seek out the Alter as well. Dragon Ball guys. It's like Dragon Ball.
