Constantine has little remorse for those who follow the path of darkness, keeping in line with the ruthless nature of the man he was cloned from. He doesn't have patience for criminals and has actively fought against many dangers to the country through his own volition. Often allowing himself the chance to traverse the world and search for knowledge and understanding in the world. He is aware of his own power and refuses to go all out on opponents unless he absolutely has too and given the nature of his cloning process he isn't capable of harming people on a whim, only being able to act in self defense or in the defense of others. It is a hindrance that bothers him greatly, as he is unable to physically bring himself to be the start of violence, making it easy for criminals who do not attack him outright to escape his clutches readily. It is for that reason that he usually traverses with a second.
