| Return of a Relic The sound of armored steps echoing through the open air ceased as a figure reached the peak of a ledge. The Knight sighed gently as she felt a stark mountain breeze wash through the snow white feathers on her hip. After leaving the hidden temple of Ororo - the Storm Goddess - Alye found herself wandering until she found a place that was actually familiar to her. It had been about a week until she'd happened upon the Train Station City also known as Oshibana. With all her money gone and no way to access her banking account, the Knight was forced to slip onto a train heading towards Crocus. Karakuri City lied beyond it. After disembarking from the train station on the outskirts of the city, Alye decided to take the unbeaten path back towards the city's guild. Eclipse Soul. She needed time to reflect on what was to come. She'd seen a newspaper while on her way to Crocus. Whatever Ororo had done to her, whatever had happened - it had lasted for two years. She'd been asleep or in some sort of stasis for two entire years. That was why when she had first awoken that she felt like her body was falling apart. All of the possibilities were swirling inside her. Were Kyll and Zeno still missing? Surely Reiki had to have searched for her... How was he doing? What was the state of the guild? Hell, she didn't even know the state of the world. She was sure that her family business had probably been seized due to her absence. That was something she was going to have to deal with in due time. For now, she needed to face the changes that had happened in her life. Taking another deep breath to help push the fear out of her stomach, Alye stepped off the ledge and began jumping from rock to rock, ever closer to Eclipse Soul. ~~~ Around two hours later, the white-haired woman stood at the entrance of the guildhall. Her heart rate was up and she was sweating just a bit. She'd forgotten how reliant she'd been on flying. That had been a workout, certainly. The woman reached up and laid her hand on the dark wooden door. Her fear had returned. And it was stronger. What was beyond this door...? How had her family changed...? The Knight closed her eyes and fell into herself. Her senses slipped outwards and through the doors. There were so many new presences. New people that couldn't recognize. She frantically searched for Reiki's frigid but still warm aura. It wasn't there. Her spirits fell a little. She'd missed her husband frantically. She'd been without him for two years. Goddess only knows what he must have went through while she was gone. What could he have thought, how could he have worried... She pushed those things aside and felt out with her senses again. Zeno, that velvety dark aura that always made her feel safe... It also wasn't here. The woman's lips pursed. Still missing. She began retracting her sensory net and let her consciousness fall back into herself. Just as her eyes were about to flutter open, she felt it. It was fleeting and weak. As soon as she felt it, it disappeared. Morphed into something else. But she'd felt it. Felt her. Alye's surprise caught her off-guard. She forgot about her enhanced strength and pushed the oaken doors open with all her might. They creaked in protest before flying open and banging harmlessly off onto the backwalls. She was so flabbergasted, that she stumbled forward a bit before finding her feet. She looked up and noticed the shocked faces. Many seemed ready for battle. She didn't care. She only had one thing on her mind. And she voiced it in a single word: "Kyll!"

Vierra was making her way through the halls getting herself ready for another calling. Yet something had kept her from leaving each time. She was rather annoyed by the constant things Fate had to offer. She got out of her room and opened the door. She then reached down to her boots and pulled them up to her knees. She then straightened her left glove. She then pulled the gauntlet on her right hand straight. One could hear the clinking down the halls as she quietly made her way out of the guild. She never thought she would be staying in the guild again. After Akryn had asked her to stay, she decided it would be best that she gave up the farm life. On top of that, it seemed her memories would slowly return to her. She cracked her neck then walked further down the hall. It seemed like an endless journey from one end of the guild hall to the other. Vierra had only found one of the many secret passages in the guild hall, but she was confident there was another that went straight to her room. Vierra also noted on the door, Ace of Rebirth was etched out. As if someone heartlessly took the position. In any case, she didn't care. That was the strange part of it. A piece of her wanted to care, but the majority of her was uncaring about it. Something just didn't feel right about living here. It seemed all the statues had ghosts inside that hated her dearly.
As she made her way into main hall, Vierra kept looking at the many statues of armor. They were tarnished, dusty, and some seemed to be rusting. She fought a familiar urge to clean them. However, she wasn't winning this battle today. Vierra stopped into the Tavern and pulled out an apron. She put a bandanna on her head then looked around for the polish. She opened a cupboard. It just seemed to sing to her as she looked around. She smiled happily as she took out the polish and then grabbed a rag. She walked to the first set of armor she saw then began polishing it. "Why... Why does this please me?" She said as the armor began to shine. She looked it up and down it was definitely clean. Spotless. She wiped some sweat off her brow. As she turned away, the doors busted open and blew her red cloak forward. She blinked as she heard that name again. KYLLLLLLLLLL. Thoughts ran through her head like mad as she heard that name. Why, why was it always her? Who was this Kyll? Why does this name follow her?
She turned around to look at the blinding light. It died down to reveal a pink haired woman in front of her. She tilted her head. She was both shocked that the doors flew off the handles and someone had such a caliber of strength. "Are you kidding me?" Vierra said aloud down the hall. Tack... tack.. tack tack tack tack. Her foot steps could be heard. She looked at the doors and sighed. "..... Wait a second..." She looked at the doors. She could see several cracks and dents in the doors to begin with. These were totally damaged before. She sighed out of relief. She then stared at woman. Her plain emerald eyes looked straight into the woman's. Something seemed familiar. "Who are you?"

"She is Alye. An old friend of the guilds, and once a guild master." Said a deep voice from across the room, answering Kylls question. Stepping into the main hall, a huge grin on his face, came an absolute mountain of a man, over eight feet of muscle, someone who would likely appear familiar to Alye, though much different than last she had seen him. "Hello Alye. As the current guild master, welcome home. It seems many old allies and friends have been rising up out of the wood work lately."

| Return of a Relic The Knight winced as she looked back at the door. She definitely hadn't meant to smack the Guildhall doors open like that. From the way that some were looking at her, she could tell that she needed to be more careful, and her hand reflexively went for the sword on her back, but she resisted the urge. Grabbing for her weapon would be the absolute wrong move to make in this kind of situation. Not a moment later, everything began to melt away though. Her entrance had left the lobby in a tense silence but it was suddenly broken by the sound of approaching footsteps. Alye eyes fell upon one of the adjoining staircases that were placed around the room. She watched as leather boots made their way down the steps, leading up towards a flowing cloak that ended with a hooded head. The Knight's eyes narrowed a bit. "What...?", she muttered to herself as the woman approached. It wasn't until she spied the bandana tied around the woman's forehead that she recognized her for who she was. Alye watched as her long lost guildmate descended and made her way over to her. It was strange though. This person walked like Kyll, had the same magical essence as Kyll, and those piercing emerald eyes could only belong to Kyll... But when the woman stood before her and asked who Alye was, it just didn't click.
At first, the pink-haired woman assumed that her old friend was playing a joke on her. It was something they did all the time, after all. But that familiar glint of mischief was not in her eyes. Could Kyll really not remember her? She knew that it had been two years but surely she would remember Alye. They had been good friends after all... The Knight was about to speak when someone that she honestly hadn't recognized until she felt his magical essence upon her. Akryn... Alye blinked in surprise at his presence there. He'd left the guild when she had still been in attendance, and now he was the Guildmaster? That had to mean that Zeno was still gone...
Or worse.
"T-Thank you...", she said lowly to Akryn as she tried processing all this information at once. She looked back to Kyll. "What do you mean? You know me! I'm Alye remember? We were both Aces! You're name is Kyll V-", in the Knight's frantic attempts to get her friend to remember, she reached out for her. It was a harmless gesture - one fostered out of love and longing. But when the tip of her armored fingers grazed against the woman's cloak, arcane energy rippled forth like a shield and repulsed Alye with such force that she was sent flying backwards, back through the guild's doors. She tumbled head over heels for a couple of yards before skidding to a halt, lying motionless.

Vierra blinked. She didn't activate her arcane force. She watched as Alye reached out to her and then just like that, her eyes began to glow a bit. Her aura increased and the aura washed over her. Vierra closed her eyes and began to wonder what just happened. Then she opened them only to find herself looking upon a platinumette that stared upon her with blue eyes. She couldn't hear anything, but she could make out that the she was angry and aggravated about something. She wore a tight form-fitting black outfit. She stared at the scene puzzled. She walked toward the figure.
Outside of her mind, in present time, she was walking outside of the guild. Her face was sort of confused. As she made her way to the warrioress, she stood in front of Alye and then sat down on her knees in a proper manner. She stared at Alye. Her hands formed in the shape of holding a clay tea cup. She held it close to her mouth then put it back. She stared at Alye with a mischevious smile and then kept silent.
In her vision she saw Akryn, or at least a younger less battle worn Akryn. She was thrilled to be around the three, but she couldn't hear anything. Then it happened. A portal opened and the hooded man came to the three of them. He sat and joined the three. Vierra turned her look over to the man. Her eyes warmed when he saw him. She felt an enormous amount of trust and warmth around this man. Her thoughts trailed as she was silent around him. However the muted conversation happened between the three. She sat there and began to take a drink of her tea. Immediately it was hot and she tossed the cup down and held onto her mouth. "That was uncalled for... Storm Cellulite." All was said aloud in front of Alye.
She then flashed out of her mind and then looked at her and Akryn. Her thoughts raced. She put a finger on her chin and then looked back at the two. "You know... The Hooded Man." She said. Vierra was more enthralled by the fact that Alye was a part of her sealed memories. "My name is Vierra Kyllagin." She locked eyes with her. "I've come back to Eclipse Soul, because I want to know why Kyll is always mentioned about me. As well, I have to find The Hooded Man. Pictures of him are all over the place here." She smiled a little giddy that a memory came back. "I have put two and two together and realized that Kyll is me, but I do not remember her. It's not that she's 'dead' persay, she's just locked away. Little by little I gain a memory of Kyll back." She looked down at the ground. "I feel a great trust coming from you. Almost like a sisterhood." She looked back at the ground and placed her hand on it. "I do not like being called Kyll at the moment, mainly because I feel incomplete. I do not live up to that name, but I want to continue forward and gain that name back. I hope you're understanding me." She looked at her and tilted her head. "Right now, I'm just another Arcane Mage who was chosen and then kicked out of the Arcane Realm to go on a small quest."[/font]

Akryn frowned a bit as Alye was seemingly repulsed from Kyll, or Vierra, by some sort of energy that had thrown the angel away. As Alye lay there two long, pointed fingers, with black and white striped gloves would rise from the shadow under her grasping her shoulders and gently lifting her to a seated position, before the rest of the being would follow. A tall, thin, frightening fellow, with a long, black and white painted nose, bushy black hair, and a row of razor sharp teeth on full display in a nasty grin. "My my guildmaster, such clumsy members you do have." The being would say softly, in a vicious sounding, hissing sort of voice.
"Alye. Meet Laughing Jack, a....man of sorts, who I brought to the guild. He used to be on a team with me and works as my right hand man." Akryn said, giving a brief introduction before turning back to Kyll with a frown. He didn't like what he had seen, mostly because he was uncertain as to whose fault it was. He liked what she had to say even less. "Vierra.... very well, that is what we will call you for now. I think its time we have ourselves a discussion however. There are to many questions, and I need answers. Especially if the lords of the arcane are involved. Come with me." He said to Vierra sternly, before turning to Alye with a softer expression. "If you are in need of any medical attention, Jack here can lead you to the medical ward. Otherwise I would like you to join us as well. As a former guild master yourself you may have some insight into how I should proceed." he said before turning and marching away, his red coat billowing behind him as he made his way to his office. He had chosen not to use the one that those before him had used, instead having created his very own office. Underground, in the entry way to a gigantic vault, the vault door clearly visible behind his desk, making him the last line of defense between the outside world and whatever was behind the door. Or perhaps the front line defense, protecting the world from what was locked in the vault....
The office was built more like an armory, a very defensible one, than anything else. The door was large and heavy, carved of some green stone with silver across its width, magical runes etched into the silver with red stones set into magic circles at the four corners of the stone. Inside the stone room a large, ornate desk, made of some sort of twisted looking white wood, wrapped in some clear, hard substance sitting squarely in the center, with ornate sculptures of soaring dragons, made of various metals and jewels on the desk in a beautiful display. A large, comfortable looking, chair sat behind the desk, with a dark red, leather upholstery. Along the walls on either side many various weapons hung, some plain and ordinary, such as a large, dark colored, iron greatsword. Some however were beautiful, with power emanating from them that could be felt from within the doorway, such as an axe that hung on one wall, a golden shaft and green blades carved like wings. Six suits of ornate armor also stood along the walls, each gleaming in the light, holding silver trimmed shield with golden trees emblazoned on them, each with a silvery sword drawn, and all six facing the vault door, shields raised as if prepared for combat. Six crystals hung in the air around the room in a circle, each glowing a soft white and illuminating the room nicely, yet eight torches also sat along either wall at regular intervals, with a chandelier hanging down with each and every candle lit as well. Two massive statues, made of some black stone sat in the back of the room, gleaming in the light, holding gigantic shields and axes, flanking the vault door, with many magical runes lining all along the walls, floor, and ceiling. Taking away from all this however was a large space on the left wall, bare of any weapons or decorations, but instead holding dozens, if not hundreds, of posters. Wanted posters, for several guilds and many individuals, with many of those individuals and a fair amount of the guilds marked out by some sort of red mark across them.
Akryn took his seat behind his desk and looked across it, preparing himself for what was to come next. He hated having to treat guild members as if they had done something wrong, but there was to much at stake to be in doubt now. "Vierra. Alye. Where have you two been, and why have you come back?"

| Return of a Relic That. Hurt.
A lot.
The Knight radiated an arcane light for a couple more seconds as she laid in a heap on the ground before the dust and said illuminance settled down. Alye was alright but she was most assuredly stunned. How had that even happened? Way back when, Kyll had only just started her study and practice of arcane magics. That was something...primal. The Knight's eyes snapped up as she noticed Kyll walking towards her. Something was wrong. The look on her face... She seemed more confused than hostile. Alye watched her approach pointedly. It came much to her surprise when she stopped right in front of Alye and kneeled down onto her knees in the same way she did when she was about to meditate or sip some tea... This woman was so much like her dear friend, this had to be Kyll!
"That was uncalled for... Storm Cellulite."
She was there. For a split second, she was there. Then her eyes flashed and she was gone again. But a flame of hope lit in Alye's chest. She was there and the Knight would do anything and everything she could to get Kyll whole again. The woman stayed on the ground but looked Kyll intently in the eye as she spoke. Hearing her talk about their friendship in such a candid way, for a couple of moments everything was fine. Life was back to the way that it was only a couple years ago. Everything was calm and it felt right. But then again... Alye knew in this moment that if she'd still had her Storm Magic, then something bad would have happened. She could still feel power bristling under the surface of her skin though. These new sensations... She didn't know what to make of them. It was like fire was flowing through her veins. Was this what Ororo had meant about the danger inside her? She had to keep going to find out...
All of a sudden, Alye felt her shoulders begin to rise up from their resting place. The rose-haired woman looked around in a panic as she noticed a rather frightening figure emerged from the ground behind her. While his visage sent a shiver down her spine, she noticed how his grip was both gentle and slow. He didn't intend to hurt her in the slightest. As Alye was set up into a sitting position and the apparition let her go, she noticed that Akryn was approaching. She could only admire that man that he seemed to have become while she'd been away. Reaching all the way to the level of a Guildmaster... She would have to remember to give him the respect that he deserved.
Deciding that she was fine enough to head to the new Guildmaster's office, Alye got to her feet and wobbled for a moment only to find Jack putting a steadying hand on her back. She looked back at him and found that when his razor sharp teeth weren't showing that he seemed charming in an odd way. The life of a wizard is never a dull one...
The whole way to Akryn's office Alye noticed how this passage was both new and led to somewhere other than the original guildmaster's office. Even from here, the rose-haired woman could feel the essence of Zeno's magic radiating from the old room. Why had Akyrn chosen to have an entire new office though? Alye figured she might have an idea of why when the party arrived into the cavernous room with the impossibly large vault at the other end. A quick glance around the room showed Alye that he certainly spared no expense in furnishing this place. Magic washed over this room like a heavy perfume. But it was that vault that interested the woman the most. Most locks were easy to decipher. If you're trying to keep something out then most of the locks will be inside the door. If you're trying to keep something inside, then most of the locks will be outside the door. From what she could tell, this was the most heavily armored door she'd ever seen. What could be in there... She couldn't help how her stare lingered on the dark red cloak that floated behind the man as he made his way to his desk.
What have you been up to...?
With little ceremony, Alye sat down next to Vierra but made sure to lean away from her. She wasn't sure if touching her again was a good idea. Deciding to go first, the Knight crossed her legs and looked at the Guildmaster straight on. She took a deep breath and began.
"After the Battle of Crocus years ago, Ky... Vierra and Zeno disappeared. When Acnologia flew off into the sunset, I looked around for my sister and my guild master but neither were there. I stayed behind to help with emergency help like healing and rubble clearing but to be honest, the entire country was in shambles at the time. The Magic Council had taken a huge hit and it had reverberated throughout the guilds as well. I dropped off some ally mages at their respective towns before heading back to the guild to see if Zeno and Vierra had returned. They hadn't. I was forced to take over as an interim guildmaster while Fiore began recovering from the Acnologia attack. I consolidated the guild's assets the best I could while I waited for Vierra and Zeno to return, but over time it began wearing on me. They still hadn't come back and the circumstances around their disappearance had became more and more strange. One day I decided that I'd had enough. I entrusted the guild to a fellow mage named Deniel and Reiki then I set out to find them both. Alye was silent for a moment as her eyes stared down at the floor and her breathing increased a bit. Something uncomfortable was coming.
"Somewhere on the way to Hargeon, I was ambushed by anti-magic forces. I was going to get away but they had a hostage and there had been so damn many of them... I..ended up being captured. I spent the next five months having my magic slowly drained from my body until they got what they wanted. My Storm Goddess Slayer Magic. Thankfully with the help from some friends I'd made while I was inside, I managed to get loose. What saved me though was the Goddess Ororo herself. In the moment that I needed her the most - she appeared. She healed my wounds and granted my old Storm Magic back to me. While the gods are not allowed to interfere directly in the affairs of humans, she came down to deliver me my vengeance. And I took it.
After freeing everyone else in the compound, I decided to head back to Eclipse Soul. Unfortunately, I came back to find that it had been razed to the ground. To this day, I don't know who did it. Still, I will find them... Anyways, after that, I wandered aimlessly for a while and even joined another guild but... It wasn't the same. After the last Guildmaster's conference, I left to try and find Vierra and Zeno again. I'd searched the whole eastern side of Fiore but somewhere near Clover I simply... can't remember. A about a week ago I awoke in a shrine to Ororo with this armor on. I made my way outside only to find the Goddess waiting for me. She informed me that I'd been in a coma for about two years. She said... S-She said that there is something inside me that was killing me. She saved me again. She then told me that my search for Zeno and Vierra needed to be completed. She said something about the arcane being out of balance. I don't really understand what the arcane realm has to do with the powers of heaven but if Ororo wishes it, then so it shall be. I am the avatar of her will. Her strength flows through me. Besides, I have to finish what I started. It's supposed to help me unlock this mystery about myself." Alye looked over at Kyll and stared intently at her. There was one thing that was bugging her though...
"What happened to the faeries?"

Vierra watched as the newcomers appeared. Something deep down inside told her not to trust them. However, she nodded to Ayle and Akryn and sat down. She listened to every word Alye had to say. This girl must seriously had been trying to find her. No wonder Vierra felt an immediate connection to her. The two were destined for something better.
"F-Faeries?" Vierra tried to think of something that matched what she thought would be a faerie. Then it hit her. Vierra got a little closer to Alye and opened a pink portal. Out of the portal purple butterflies floated on her injuries from the reaction when she had first seen Ayle. "These seem like faeries."
She didn't like the room she was in. Not one bit. Something in her didn't want to continue into the office. She felt unwelcomed. More than ever it just felt wrong. Something was wrong. Something was wrong. Something IS wrong. Vierra could feel her heart flutter when he said something about the lords of the Arcane Realm. Her mind scattered. How could she explain what had happened and what she was up to? "Um..." She looked at both of the mages and put a hand behind her back. She smiled and closed her eyes in a familiar way. "I honestly don't know what to tell you. From what I gathered, the hooded man seemed to be in a lot of trouble as I was kicked out of the Arcane Realm. I barely remember it really..." She squeezed her hands together then looked down at her knees as she kept them together. Her eyes softened as a voice went through her mind.
Tell them... Tell them about us...
She grit her teeth. The Major Arcana spoke to her. They trusted her, but why? What did she do to deserve their trust? She looked up at her "guildmaster" and smiled. "Aspects of the Major Arcana have been scattered all over the place. In order to restore the hooded man, all of the Major Arcana must be gathered. So far, I have found three." She tilted her head and looked forward. She put her hand into her breast pocket and pulled out only one card. This time, it was different than The Hermit. She now held The Emperor. "This card came from Trase's Metal Slayer magic. You would know Trase as Cirven." She put the card on the table. "These cards do not wish to be with just anyone. In fact, they are like 'people' too." She looked at the two. "This is Gilgamesh. Also known as The Emperor. He chose a mage, but was willfully bound to save the life of his chosen." She kept the card close to her. Treasured it. "I have also ran into someone of great interest. I do not know if he will join our guild, but I promised that I would be his friend." She then looked to the side and down at her knees with a small blush. She immediately cleared her throat. "Alright the second card I found was The Hermit. This one was in The Hooded Man's vault. As we have learned, Miss Kyll has left hints all over the guild for everyone to find one day." She then sighed. "The Hermit rushed to Mosa Ezbron. A mage I ran into in Hargeon Town. When I was working a job with him, The Hermit left my side." She looked at the card she held in her hand. "My Aspect who chose me feared the man upon finding out that Mosa is an Arcane Mage as well." Upon speaking his name her thoughts flew to Girana and Ryu. She wasn't going to mention those two. However, she did want to mention one more thing. "Geno was another Arcane Being I ran into. I don't know why, but he seems to be a bit of a sociopath."She leaned back in her chair moved her feet then stood up. "Now if you will excuse me, I have a mission to do. I don't know why, but I as I restore my memories and the closer I get to the answers, they tend to run away, the more I want to dislike this place." She put the card away. "I would like to be near someone familiar to me. Mosa." She started to walk out of the room. "Ayle if you want to join me on this mission you're more than welcome to. Either way, we are getting The Hooded Man back."Just then she turned her face to look towards the two. Her eyes seemed to glow a bit, just like Kyll's. More than ever. She had a more saddened look to her face. The look was that of an extremely close friend trying to find her partner. What seemed to be, her everything. Her life. This was a face of the mage that had dedicated herself to Eclipse Soul, the look of the mage who never took a the guild master's seat even though she had plenty opportunity. Instead, she left the seat open for her Master to come back. That was the signature, determined look, of the Ace of Rebirth, the only Ace to ever keep her loyalties to just one guildmaster. She then turned around. Her voice changed. She placed a hand on a suit of armor. "This is all wrong..." She then gripped her fist and left a dent in the armor. She walked out of the room and down the hall.

Akryn sat quietly at his desk as the two women told him their stories, his fingers interlaced in front of him, his chin resting on them, and his brow creased with concern. Both of them brought troubling news to the guild, to be certain. Alye was not alone in having spent a time getting her magic drained, Akryn himself had experienced something similar for a time, though it sounded like they had gone to two different facilities for it. Akryn had after all destroyed the place he had been imprisoned at, leaving nothing more than a smoldering three mile wide crater. This news however bothered him, as it brought the question to light of whether or not they were connected. And if they were, who was behind it, and for what purpose?
Kyll, or Vierra as she wanted to be called, brought a much more immediate trouble though, one that most certainly got Akryns attention, and judging from the sudden darkening in his aura, also drew his ire. He had known Geno, in passing anyway, from before, as a troublesome little puppet that he had never trusted. That distrust was still there, and Akryn couldn't help but feel the little toy had a hand in this mess for Vierra and Zeno somehow. This was all very troubling indeed.
As Vierra made to leave down the hallway she would find her way blocked. The door to the office had sealed shut and was immovable, even with her great strength, obviously held by some powerful charm. "We are not done Vierra. In fact I would say you and I have quite a bit more to discuss concerning magical artifacts and bringing sentient entities into this guild in secret." He said sternly, fixing her with a firm, one eyed glare and a frown. "I understand your need to accomplish this quest, trust and believe me when I say I do. But you will not bring unknown magics and entities, such as Geno, with unknown intent, again such a Geno, without informing me. As guild master I am responsible for the safety of this entire guild. Including you, Vierra. I remember Geno from before, a devilish little trickster that even then made me wary. I consider him a possible threat to be monitored for possible harm to the guild, or to yourself. As for these other aspects you speak of, I do not know much about them or their intents, but if they had a part in your disappearance or the disappearance of Zeno then perhaps they should be monitored as well." Akryn said firmly before turning to Alye.
"As for you. While your story is certainly a wild one most of it does not concern me. Two parts of it do however. I spent time in a prison of sorts as well, to the south of Fiore, where my magic was drained from my body, much as you say happened to you. When I left it however I left it as a smoking crater that still burns to this day. That tells me there are more involved, in something perhaps bigger than initially thought. I would ask that you write down all you can remember of the event and bring it to me so that I may investigate it." Akryn said as he stood up, looking to both women. "As for your quests. You have at your disposal the full, and considerable, resources of this guild at your disposal. Find your answers and your peace, if they may be had. But I expect to be informed." He said, before turning to look at Vierra again. "Especially of new powers or entities that may come into play or threaten this family. I have reasons for this and I expect this, if nothing else, to be obeyed. I can not guard us from threats I do not know of." He said before waving his hand, the door to his office opening for Vierra. "Now you may go."

| Return of a Relic After her story, the Knight sat there in a quiet state. For several days since her awakening, she'd only been thinking about getting back to the guild and her friends. She'd almost forgotten about the events of her past. Almost. As she had described her ordeals to Akryn, she had to dredge up all those old and painful memories from her kidnapping. All that pain and misery... Alye was secretly grateful for her heavenly armor because its masked the shaking of her hands inside her gauntlets. Just thinking about it sent her into a rage, but there was nothing she could do about it...right now. It immeasurably troubled her that someone as powerful as Akryn was also taken hostage and drained of his magic. If his assumption was correct and his magic was also stolen by the same circle of people that had taken her magic as well, then there was something seriously wrong. Alye took a deep breath to calm herself. Now was not the time for irrational thinking. Personal vendettas aside, she had a task to deal with. Her armored fingers trailed up to her shoulder where one of the purple faeries had healed a surface wound she'd gotten from the repulse of magic earlier. That sensation... That was most definitely Kyll. But what could have happened to her and Zeno? As Alye rubbed the peculiar spot on her shoulder, a disturbing thought came to mind. What if Zeno had lost his memory too? Alye's gears began to start turning. Vierra had mentioned something about Zeno being in trouble with some entities inside the Arcane Realm. What if both of their memories and even their magics had changed as well? It was a lead that she would need to consider. The Knight was so entranced in her thoughts that she didn't even hear most of the conversation until Vierra said something about her joining in a mission to find Zeno. The rose-colored woman nodded to her guildmate. It would be nice to have a companion on this quest. When Vierra stood up to leave, Alye noticed how her demeanor had changed. A couple of minutes ago, the woman had been in a reasonable - if not slightly detached - mood. Something had drawn her anger and she couldn't tell if it was something in this room or beyond. Her brow furrowed a bit more though as she also noticed how Akryn's tone and magic power flickered to life. As he blocked the way with a considerable ward, Alye couldn't help but wonder if the current guildmaster thought that one of his members might be a threat... Then again, Akryn had always been a bit brash at times. She also couldn't judge him for trying to keep his guild safe. After all, Alye had made many hard calls when she'd sat in that chair herself. The woman nodded to her Master about writing down about her experiences with her kidnapping. While she'd normally be adverse to such a thing, knowing that Akryn had been through the same circumstances made her feel a tad more comfortable in the venture. It would be nice to have a companion on that quest as well. When Akryn stood, Alye did as well. Her heavenly armor radiated soft white light in the ambient darkness of the room. Her official re-induction into the guild was over. Now it was time for business. Alye would now probably go about seeing if her room was still her's, then she'd need to check in with her family's company. There was much to do, but plenty of time to deal with it. For the first time since her awakening, she finally felt like she had some semblance of control. The Knight nodded respectfully towards Akryn before turning, sending her feathers flowing around her. She made her way towards Vierra and smiled warmly at her long-lost sister. "Shall we go then?"[EXIT]

As Alye finished her words she gave a smile and looked at Akryn. "I do not wish to follow your guidance. If I find someone to bring into the guild, then by our tennants, they will be known as family. Unless you wish to remove those rules and traditions. I highly doubt you'd want to disturb the balance of how fate and destiny bring your mages to this guild. As the arcane monks here say it, the universe provides our encounters with each other." She walked out after Alye and continued down the halls.
