Vierra made her way through the corridors of the guild halls. Her eyes looked up and down the memorial paintings on the wall. Her eyes fell upon one. She tilted her head as she walked toward the painting. It stood there. A mischievous grin, a beaked white hood, and two blades. She looked at the painting closer and it had a signature and message written on it.
"Forget life, death, and rebirth, forget the master, but remember our purpose." -- Kyll Vie
That name haunted her where ever she went. As if, it purposefully wanted her to 'remember' who this woman was. She stood there in awe of the statement. People had left this guild with ease because they remembered their purpose, but Vierra's mind was set on keeping her guild tattoo. She pulled her hood down and then looked closer at the blades. She lifted her right hand to look at her gauntlet then realized it. Her gauntlet was this man's. "It's his... but who is he?" She said aloud. She stood there rather lost at the sight of this man. The hooded man.

Akryn slowly made his way through the halls of the mightiest guild in all of Fiore. His guild now. Admittedly the massive, scar covered, man had never expected to be the guild master of this place, leading so many powerful and noteworthy mages. He had a dark and bloody past, he had done things that most people would never forgive, he had lived, loved, and lost, and he had snapped when he had lost his family. After losing that he had once again gone and done dark and bloody deeds, and he had certainly not expected to be forgiven, welcome back, or even accepted within this guild again. And yet not only had he been forgiven and accepted again, he had been given this position over many others that he would have thought much better qualified for it. He was however the most powerful, and he was in this position now, which meant he would have to live up to it. Even now his team was out and about, carrying out the usual tasks he would be expected to do, such as paperwork and necessary appearances, giving him a bit of necessary time to relax and get his head on straight again.
Even as he took his stroll to relax however, he would notice one of the newest oddities of the guild, someone that would make him stop and stare a bit. He knew her as Kyll Vie, his one time friend and mentor. But not anymore. Now she answered to a dfferent name, behaved in a different manner, was a different person it seemed. It made it hard at times to interact with her. Still, it would be hard just to walk away and pretend he hadn't seen her. He lifted bis chin a bit and strode forward, confidently. "Hello there."

Vierra turned around to face Akryn. She looked at the painting. "I was just enjoying the art. This man..." She thought back about how Pantu had shown her the hooded man. "This is the hooded man in my dream." She said and walked down the halls. She stopped at the suit of armor that she had remembered. This man wore the suit of armor. "I only have one memory of him. Yet I do not know anything about this man, other than find a way to bring him back." She looked at the armor closely. Click. "Forget life," Vierra said as she placed a hand on the heart of the armor. Click. "Forget death," she placed a hand on neck of the armor. Click. "Forget rebirth." She placed a hand on the crown of the armor. Click. "And forget the master." She placed a hand on the armor's right shoulder. Click. "But never forget your purpose." Vierra placed a finger on the forehead of the armor. Click. CLUNK! Just then the scraping of metal could be heard as the wall in the corridor moved to form a door. It opened up and moldy smoke came out of the hall way into the corridor. She looked at Akryn and gave a small grin. She was showing emotion for the first time around him. "Who ever this Kyll was, she left archaic clues that were easily solvable." She looked down the hallway. It was dark. She held up a hand and a bright blue light began to glow in her hand. She held her hand flat and guided it forward. "Well Akryn, do you wish to follow?" The light revealed stairs that lead down. Where to, Vierra didn't know, but something just told her to go down the stairs.

Akryn watched her open the secret door with one eyebrow arced upwards, somewhat amused by what he was watching. "Yes, Miss Kyll was a very....interesting woman. I learned a lot from her, an admittedly I don't think she would have approved of all the choices I have made since her absence. She and Master Zeno were a great help to me when I first came to this guild. Yes, I will go with you. Kyll and Zeno left many secrets with the guild when they left. It would be rather....amusing to start figuring out those puzzles." he said, moving to follow her, but having to duck a bit to follow her into the passage way. The downside of being a giant of a man.

Vierra walked down the corridor and down stairs with Akryn behind her. "So his name was Zeno," Vierra said looking forward. As soon as the words fell from her lips she looked forward. The corridor faded. To Akryn, Vierra just stopped looking forward with a blank stare. To Vierra, she found herself in a destroyed tavern. The Eclipse Soul tavern. She stood in the middle of the destruction holding the hooded man from the painting up by the collar of his shirt. She could feel all of the anger swelling in her body and over flowing into her hands. She threw the man down to the ground and then walked up to him. She couldn't hear anything. Just echoes of voices. They were all muted to the point where she couldn't tell what she was saying or what everyone else around her was talking about. Just like that she looked over at a platinum haired man. She came to a thought of shock from what she had said... What did she say? She looked around the entire room. Everywhere, everyone was shocked at what she had said. Just as she tried to figure out what she said, Vierra was sucked back into the corridor. Immediately she stopped. She finally figured it out. "Betrayal..."
The two continued down the corridors and at the end of the tunnel and stairwell was a blue pulsating light. She walked in. The light was blinding at first, but then it faded away. She looked forward only to see a card on a pedestal in the middle of the room. She walked up to the middle of the room and looked down at the card. "The Hermit," Vierra said aloud reading the top of it. This was a Major Arcana tarot card. She looked over at Akryn. "So you want to know what this is?"

Akryn watched Vierra closely as she seemed to freeze up, likely going into a trance of sort from what he could see. He stepped back, letting her go through her vision and listening. He didn't know what had happened, why Kyll had left. He had been away at that time on his little vengeance trip, but he knew that whatever had happened had smashed the guild to pieces, figuratively and literally, and he had had to help rebuild it all, with both of the guilds leaders missing. Perhaps he would finally receive answers here himself.
He followed Viera as she headed deeper into the catacombs, the darkness seeming to be crushing on each side. He had never been down here, even after becoming the master of the guild. There were to many ancient treasures and weapons that had been smashed and let loose when the original guild had been destroyed, and it wasn't safe for most mages. Thankfully he was not most mages, and neither was his companion. Besides, something felt off. It was as if something or someone wanted them down here, looking for answers. When Vierra finally stopped at the card and asked him if he wanted to know what it was. There was only one answer he could give. "Tell me."

Vierra smiled as she looked at it. "It's a key..." She held it close to her. She looked over at Akryn and her grin warmed. "Akryn, I don't mean to sound a bit forward about this but..." She paused and walked up to him then looked him in the eye. "I had a moment in the farms out at the Karakuri village. There's something that I cannot escape from. There is something that I must run to and understand more. The closer I get to these cards or spirits IN these cards. The more I will figure out who I am."
Child do you really want that?
Vierra stopped. She knew that Akryn wouldn't be able to hear that voice. She shook her head. "This is something I want more than ever. I want to remember. If it's that hard, then so be it. These... These objects are the keys to my memories. They hold a part of me in them as they hold a part of the original owner." Vierra showed the card to Akryn closely. The card held a very familiar aura. A shadowy aura, a scary aura, but a warm aura, and a safe aura. This was the first guild master's weapon. Now it was in Vierra's possession. She looked at it. "So how do I get this thing to work."
Give me to my master... You'll know... because I'll know... I'll reward you afterwards.
Vierra looked at the card and nodded to it. She stored it in the breast pocket inside of her jacket then looked at Akryn. "I don't want to stay in the farms any more. It was stagnant there. Will you let me stay here..."

Akryn watched Kyll with his arms crossed and a frown on his face. He somewhat recognized the cards, they reminded him of Zeno's old magic. He had helped come down here for some answers to many long held question, and instead of answers he had more questions. What connection did Zeno have with Kyll and her disappearance here? Did he have something to do with he memory loss as well? Where was Zeno, what was his connection to all this, what was going on? The more he heard the more he realized that something nasty was going on, and he didn't like it, not one bit.
Still, that was something he would have to deal with in the future. For now his guild needed him now, focusing on the present. Akryn stepped forward, a smile coming to his face as one of his large hands came to rest on her shoulder. "Yes, you are more than welcome to return to the guild. This is your home, always has been, always will be. Come on upstairs, we will get you a room before sending someone to gather your things. As for the cards....I sense there is power and mystery to them, with little to no answers. I feel we should look into some sort of protection for them, perhaps in the guild vault?" he offered.

Vierra nodded and smiled. She looked at Akryn and shook her head. "Let's not put The Hermit in the vault. It calls to me. It tells me that he wants me to meet his new master." She stopped and began to look around the room. She saw that the torches that lit the room were blue and purple. "He's an aspect of the Arcane Realm. The thing is... If we want to find his original master, we have to find all of them." Her eyes thinned. "Each one of the cards holds a memory of mine. However, I must take that aspect and bind it to its original form. Whether it wants to be bound or not. They each hold a memory. A key to unlocking everything that I was, am, or ever will be. They transcended time and space just to make their way back to this world." She gripped her fist.
You want to take us all? You have amazing determination. Can you stomach the thought of possibly killing another. As The Hermit, spoke the card's aura spiked.
"No.. I won't take another life for a key." She said aloud to reassure the Arcane Being.
I will warn you. If you go any further with this, you will not like us. You will not like yourself. You can't be around those you call friends because you won't stand the thought of what you have done.
"I don't know what you are saying."
This is a dark road. I would tread lightly. Do NOT expect to stay in Eclipse Soul after you have found us.
After those words rang through her head, the flow of the aura stopped. As if the being had slept, she looked at Akryn. "That was an Aspect. This is going to be a long road. If you wish to come along, that's up to you. However, I would be careful. Apparently something will culminate from this." She walked out of the room and up the stairs.

Akryn watched as Kyll discussed something with an unseen force, choosing to remain silent for now as she spoke. "I will.....allow the card to remain in the guild for now, and not sealed away. However, I would urge the utmost caution with it, and any others you find Kyll. We still have not recovered all the relics that were stored in the old vault and do not know their power. Beyond that, I sense a much larger hand in all of this. The last time I had dealings with an entity that made me think deity, in any form, I lost a city. I will prevent such a tragedy from happening again my friend. I must. As for what this may bring up.....we will cross that bridge when the time comes. There are to many mysteries and secrets for my taste. I think some answers can only be good, rather they are the ones we want to learn or not." He said, stepping aside for his friend to go up the stairs before him.
He would wait a bit, letting her go up the stairs and away a bit, before speaking. "Jack. Scour this room, every nook and cranny. Find what artifacts and secrets may be found and bring them to me immediately. Discreetly of course, as well. As I told her, we have not yet recovered everything. I wish to know what else is still missing." He said, turning his eye a bit to gaze at the head that had slowly emerged from his shadow, a head with a pale face, raven hair, and a smile of a demon. "Asssss you wish, masteeerrrrr, ahehehehehehe!" The man muttered before melting away into the darkness of the room.
Once he had gone, Akryn would begin following Kyll up the stairs. He had done much research after the disappearance of Kyll and Zeno, into the two of them and what might have happened. Even then every answer he had found had led to only more fear and questions, and he could not shake the gnawing sensation in his gut that some entity, or entities, were at work here in some form, and that they posed a serious threat to his guild. Akryn was confident he could defeat any such entity, after all, he had already defeated a dragon and imprisoned a god! But he had to wonder.....what harm would be done to his family if such a being attacked.....
